Oh, that red colour!!! There's suspense and anxiety in this drawing! You are playing with contrasts, Hedwig! Quiet reading (can't see what You are doing) - dark night - wolves (!) guarding - someone's watching... I'm feeling as if I am the spy... Hope you are not in trouble, my friend!xx
Hi WW. I really like this, the color red is always very impressive. temperamental (I find no translation for this word) temper is said in English? let's see ... is a color with temperament. and, apparently, even if your drawing seems humorous, there is a story, or something, which can be analyzed, (if a person wanted to) for me, it's important to say something with a loose drawing, free, without, mannerisms. You know that humor is a way to criticize, or say something, maybe tougher than a serious comment, (and humor, one must to know how to interpret it, I think it is not for everyone, I'm talking about critical humor ) OK. technically perfect, from my view. I see youuuuuuuuuuuuuu :)
Thanks you both! I see now that the red is to much. It was meant to show how my big brown dog is always vigilant, on patrol around the house, although there is no threat at all. We are quietly doing our thing (I'm cooking, btw) and he is looking around for something to bark at. We call him the department of surveillance. I'll make another picture, when I've time.
This is interesting (the comments), because I saw warmth in the the red... but your dogs do look ferocious! You don't look scared. I think you must know you are well protected!
Wow, he looks so fierce! I don't think the red is too much, it's so vibrant and energetic. And I love the way you showed the scene inside the house. So neat and different from you!
Thanks, Hedwig, is a creek near my house, the red fruit is what we call "rosa mosqueta" is a wild rose that has only four pink petals, with the fruit you can cook very delicious marmalade. I wish you a beautiful weekend!!!!!!
Hey Hedwig...How did I miss this??? I came and it wasn't there last time...now thats what you call a spell!! Now...These guys are your surveillance wolves! This is a mystery as others have said...its color is a colour spell I suspect...but maybe just a reflection in a mirror of your anger before you cast the spell after you receive the surveillance report.
Hi Rod, I'm glad you made it. And don't be afraid to come again. There's no anger, no spell, just a wolve with a surveillance hobby in a sunset reflection. Actually, everything is very peaceful.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenI like how these cute doggies take their responsibility so seriously. And they are right, they do important work! It is not easy to be a dog... :-)
