  2. Oh, NO! I want to die!
What a great artist you are Hedwiwg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm very excited, your drawings are very poignant.
The first illustration is a reminder that you have deep inside, I know.
The second illustration is a goodbye, I know it in my heart.
and other illustrations are nothing more than distractions to forget.
The third illustration (I think my favorite) is such a strong image, giving back to the world, your dogs (pure love) and you.
simulating saing: "Nothing interests me, the world could explode tomorrow" just pretending ...

    I love dogs peeing!
(are you peeing?) This picture is very beautiful, I swear that I love it! I like it a lot!!!, (very sexy)
Oh, sorry, I did an analysis!

    1. Thanks for your compliments and analysis! I thought it over while walking the dogs :) My son leaving was on my mind this week so it's not strange that he slipped into the drawings. My story is about growing up with dogs (symbolic perhaps? could be parent and child), getting close and lots of love, but also feeling free and powerful as if you could walk to the end of the world together (And indeed, walking is a good distraction!) Dogs are loyal, they don't leave, and during a good walk you get the pack-feeling. The next level of togetherness is feeling comfortable in each others company and without shame so you can act natural. So Yes, I'm peeing! The dogs don't say Yuk! or That's not decent!, they just wait till I'm finished, they sniff :))) and then we are on the way again.

    2. maybe I'm a dog, because I never say yuk in front of a natural act, in fact, my family and I have peed on the side of the roads and paths along my country, and when my children were very young , we used to camp in the forests of the south, away from all civilization (we were always pretty hermits) and our bathroom was in the bushes of the forest. a pleasure, watching the lake and mountains.
I repeat, that picture is wonderful! have a nice weekend!!!!!!

  6. Dear Hedwig, do you know that your drawings have some special energy, they impact not only on our eyes and brain, but also on our emotions! And this is the power that, like a magnet, leads me back again and again to watch them! And every time I find something new... I like your story. I like that it is open - to the world, to the future day, not alone along the road... The birds are such a good detail!! At this very moment my favourite is the second drawing - from both points of view...! Thank you! xxx

    1. And thank YOU for your words! You are such a great observer, you just look at it the right way, but I know that only when I read your comment. Then I think: Yes, so that's what I meant, that's why I post these drawings here! I make everything personal. Sometimes, in daily life or in discussions, that's not so handy, but in drawing I can show that freely. And it's great to know that people like it. That you like it. You are a soul mate! XXX

    2. Oh, if some of the authors that I put on puppet stage (at least HCAndersen!) could exclaim: "So that's what I meant!", I would be the happiest person on Earth! But this is a thing I will never know... While we both live now; don't sleep and write to each other at the same moment and thus I was overjoyed to learn that sometimes I get close to your intentions and the way you feel, when drawing. Maybe we are really soul mates?:))) Good night, Hedie!

  7. So much feeling in your artwork... I'm a bit afraid of dogs (result of some terrifying experiences in my youth) so the first image made me anxious, but the rest made me acutely aware of what I'm missing!

  8. So many sweet images! My favorite is that lovely scene from the back as you (or someone!) and all those wonderful furry friends climb up the hill.
