  2. Wow! What a strange painting! You know i dont look for meanings when i am watching a work of art, but yes i make miself some questions about why the artist did what he/she did. Not only about the "figurative" part of the painting but about lines and colours and marks on the work. Maybe i ask more about the blue, the red and the black, and some points and lines here and there, than for the naked woman on a horse. (why the buttocks are a bit red? Is the back of the horse too rough?) :)

    1. Hello Roberto, I have often a plan or a meaning in my work, but this time it is all a matter of associations and coincidences. I shall explain: I wanted to make a sort of Lady Godiva for International Women's day, but I made something else. The sketch I used here. Background is just experimenting with water paint. The lines and colors are a hint to sunset and the birds are a memory of a fascinating radio program I heard driving my car. People hiding in the bushes waiting for birds to return to their sleeping area in the evening.
The buttocks (and cheeks, elbows, knees, heels) are red because it looks nice and they are reddish by nature. The horse back is sioft, but I think buttocks get red from just the pressure of sitting :)))))
