Hello! I missed your drawings...:) I like the different layers in this one, the nearly invisible fish and the use of leaves! This Saturday we'll draw around autumn leaves and make leaves imprints in our workshop. I'll show you photos later.:)
I like the autumn very much. The smell and the colors and all the creative things you can do with leaves, acorns, chestnuts etc. I had forgotten about leave imprints since there are no longer children in the house. Can't wait to try that again.
Hedwig, my dear friend! I can not believe you were in Cabo Polonio??? Ha Ha, is a great coincidence! I do not live in Spain, I live in Argentina, in the center of the country in the Córdoba province (You know, the first Europeans to arrive here were the Spanish-year 1570 - so they called this place, Córdoba, as Cordoba in Spain. Well I'm glad that you've gone through my blog, a long time I did not know anything about you :)))))))))))) I love this illustration with a lot of poetry. don't you disappear so long... :(((
Ola Roberto, it's good to hear from you. Since three years my brother lives in Buenos Aires and me and my mom visited him there for the first time. We also went to Uruguay, to Punto del Diablo, and from there we made a trip to Cabo Polonio in a big truck. I love your country and its people! And the weather.
Hey, Hedwig!!! now I can not believe it less than before, HA HA!!!!! :)))))))))) Then you ate "asado", "churrasco", "milanesas", "dulce de leche", do you drink mate? Ha ha.!!!! Thank you for saying that you love my country and its people, Buenos Aires is a beautiful city, very European, right? ;)))) Let me know if you come back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hugs an kises!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi felix Roberto! I like talking to you about this. To know the place (a little bit) one comes from gives a familiar feeling. I'am a vegetarian, but I temporarily gave that up in Argentina, because it's all meat what you guys eat, and you really know how to cook it! So yes, I liked the asado. Dulce de leche was great, but mate... yuk..brrr uggh blah! BA is an impressive city, but so big and crowded! In Holland everything is small, even our big cities. Adios!
Ha ha, you made me laugh! :))) I understand about mate, have a taste, which you should get used to it since childhood, although I know many people from Europe, living in my country that is accustomed to drink mate.(maybe with sugar is acceptable) I think you are very meticulous in Holland and educated and their cities are like clockwork perfect,we would like to have a bit of that :))) and Buenos Aires, perhaps, you think chaotic, but hey, it's our Latin spirit, ha ha, Argentines have Spanish and Italian blood, we laughed and talked loudly, ha ha, but we are good people ;) Kisses, Thanks for your answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is so great, i love it. Very immaginative and as if they are going on a wonderful journey. The media is interesting too. How did you create this picture if you dont mind me asking?
Thank you! This is what I did: first I made the water with blue aquarel paint and a big brush on a piece of paper. Then I took 3 fallen leaves from the garden, put them on the blue paper and into the scanner. On that image I drew the figures with the digital paint program, and touchpad! That's the reason they look a bit stiff. I did it really quick and with simple means. And with lots of fun.
Thank you and Hi to you, Roberto. I'm on the point of leaving for the USA to visit my sister. Perhaps I do soms IFthing from there, that is Seattle. Ï'm so excited! I haven't seen her in a year. Bye bye
